Security Design Consultant Job Description

Control Risks is a leading provider of security risk management and design solutions. We are seeking a skilled Security Design Consultant to join our expanding Crisis and Security Consulting practice in Australia Pacific (Auspac).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to identifying new opportunities and developing proposals for prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans and deliver security design consultancy assignments ranging from simple to complex tasks.
  • Attend weekly meetings with project stakeholders and maintain accurate records of actions and decisions.
  • Collaborate with the design team to deliver high-quality design deliverables.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a security design professional or in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of design engineering elements and CAD 2D design software.
  • Proven track record of successful security design consultancy projects, preferably in Asia or similar environments.
  • Good knowledge and experience in design and implementation of integrated electronic security systems and physical security measures.
  • Working knowledge of security management systems and risk management methodologies.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Engineering degree in electronics and electrical engineering or communications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good commercial expertise, analytical skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
