You have the chance to work as a Disability Support Worker in a role that requires you to deliver quality care services. You will be working with clients who need support in their daily lives.
This job involves providing ongoing individual and active support to people in their chosen activities. You will also be required to attend to personal care and hygiene needs of supported persons. Additionally, you will provide a safe physical and emotional learning environment.
Maintaining confidentiality is crucial in this role. You must maintain strict confidentiality on all matters regarding the people we support.
- Previous experience working and supporting people with a disability;
- Ability to work with participants who display behaviours of concern;
What We Need from You
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations;
- Highly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner;
- Current police check or willingness to undertake one;
- Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications or willingness to update;
- NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance;
- Current Driver's License;
- Must have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge and experience in a similar industry;
- Fluency in a second language;
- Certificate III in Individual Support or higher;
- Completed online NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
