Job Description

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to our participants, helping them build their capacity and confidence.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to each participant, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Assist individuals in building their independence by developing skills and strategies for daily living.
  • Facilitate community engagement and provide access to relevant services and resources.
  • Establish a supportive environment that respects the dignity and aspirations of each participant.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

- A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Previous experience in disability support or a related role is highly desirable.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting and empowering individuals.
