We serve NDIS participants across Melbourne and Victoria, tailoring our services to meet unique needs.
Role Description
This is a casual, on-site role for a Disability Support Workers located in Ballarat, VIC. The Disability Support Worker will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities, supporting the participants in accordance with their needs and goals reflected in their individualised support plans, providing emotional and physical support, safeguarding clients' well-being, and ensuring clear communication with clients, Care Coordinators, HR and other staff members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Experience in Safeguarding practices
- Empathic, Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in disability support or similar fields
- Understanding of NDIS and its processes is an advantage
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport
- NDIS Screening check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current police check
- Assist with medication certificate
- Other compliance certificates are required through the onboarding process
