About the Role

This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of Institutional clients to meet their needs across Relationship, Transaction Banking, and Research & Analysis. The Growth Portfolio segment focuses on clients seeking less complex solutions from ANZ. The role will support this customer experience by leveraging ANZ's digital solutions, increasing customer advocacy through proactive engagement, and driving growth and revenue with a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing the end-to-end credit process and exercising delegated CAD.
  • Develop deep client and industry understanding, using high-quality analysis to capture valuable business and cross-sell opportunities with acceptable risk appetite.
  • Enhance existing relationships, conduct client analysis, and develop account strategies.
  • Increase customer advocacy through proactive engagement, using insights, customer campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Execute industry-specific research and ongoing portfolio management functions, adhering to agreed portfolio management protocols.
  • Assume line manager responsibility, including the development of Relationship Managers.

  • Ability to balance growth, volume, and product targets.
  • Negotiation and sales management skills, with experience in relationship credit management and financial modeling.
  • Advanced analytical skills, supporting maturing commercial judgment and business instincts.
  • Self-motivation and adaptability in ambiguous situations.
  • Understanding of clients' Working Capital Cycle, with a data analytical mindset.
