About the Role

As a Customer Account Specialist at Cleanaway, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our major customers.

This involves acting as the primary point of contact for these customers, handling their inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized waste management solutions.

You will be responsible for engaging with multiple business units to discuss client requirements, gather pricing, and develop comprehensive quotes for various types of waste services.

Key responsibilities include presenting quotes to clients, handling purchase orders, and establishing accounts, ensuring a seamless transition from proposal to service delivery across business units.

You will also address client service needs, including resolving invoice disputes, coordinating with drivers, and managing operational requirements.

Additionally, you will prepare and organize detailed waste management reports for clients, handling multiple reports and gathering necessary data, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Lastly, you will work closely with procurement to manage purchase orders and ensure all services meet client specifications and compliance standards.

About You
  • Proven experience in client service, account management, or client relations, with the ability to manage complex client interactions and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, coordinating across cross-functional teams, and handling time-intensive reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse teams and clients, with a knack for mediating and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and purchase order management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM is essential.
