About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Account Specialist to join our team at Cleanaway. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our major customers, ensuring seamless delivery of waste management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major customers, handling inquiries and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized waste management solutions.
  • Engage with multiple business units to discuss client requirements, gather pricing, and develop comprehensive quotes for various types of waste services.
  • Present quotes to clients, handle purchase orders, and establish accounts, ensuring a seamless transition from proposal to service delivery across business units.
  • Address client service needs, including resolving invoice disputes, coordinating with drivers, and managing operational requirements.
  • Prepare and organize detailed waste management reports for clients, handling multiple reports and gathering necessary data, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Work closely with procurement to manage purchase orders and ensure all services meet client specifications and compliance standards.
About You
  • Proven experience in client service, account management, or client relations, with the ability to manage complex client interactions and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, coordinating across cross-functional teams, and handling time-intensive reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse teams and clients, with a knack for mediating and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and purchase order management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM is essential.
