Motor Claims Consultant Opportunity

MAYDAY Recruitment Group, the winner of Outstanding Agency 2023, is seeking a dedicated Motor Claims Consultant to join a leading claims management and service delivery team in Newcastle, NSW.

This role will involve managing end-to-end motor claims from initial contact through assessment, investigation, and settlement.

Key Benefits:

  • Offices in Newcastle with hybrid work mode (3 days WFH)
  • $70,000 - $78,000 plus super, depending on experience

Main Responsibilities:

  • Guide brokers and stakeholders through the claims process, explaining requirements and steps
  • Assist clients in preparing necessary documents to support their claims
  • Facilitate effective communication to expedite the claims process
  • Investigate claims to assess their validity, gather evidence, and collaborate with involved parties
  • Negotiate with insurance companies to secure fair settlements for clients
  • Advocate for policyholders' rights to ensure they receive the benefits they are entitled to
  • Manage claim-related documentation and maintain accurate claim file notes
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth claim processes

Requirements:

  • Experience within insurance claims, end-to-end motor an advantage
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle complaints and difficult situations professionally
  • Familiarity with insurance laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in relevant software, data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent decision-making and organizational skills
