About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive problem solver to join our Assessing Team as a Desktop Assessor. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral part in the claims process, ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and communicate assessing outcomes with external parties
  • Determine accident circumstances / causes
  • Determine the correct repair process and parts identification
  • Review and negotiate the towing and recovery process
  • Complete desktop style assessments, insured and third party assessments, and fair & reasonable settlements
  • Provide written expert reports in a timely manner
  • Produce repair authorities to repairers
  • Process payment recommendations to claims
Requirements
  • Three to five years' experience in mechanical repairs (heavy motor experience highly regarded)
  • Certificate in an automotive trade (desirable)
