Ensuring Smooth Facility Operations

The role of a facility coordinator is pivotal in streamlining the management and administration of facility operations, significantly impacting the overall efficiency and functionality of the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance with contractual and health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Tracking costs and budgeting – maintaining accurate spending records and providing reports as needed
  • Coordinating the On-site CMMS reporting tool and linking it to contractually agreed-upon key performance indicators
  • Managing staff, contractor, and tenant scheduling to meet customer requirements
  • Contributing to driving health, safety, and environmental compliance and ensuring that all work by contractors and employees is conducted safely, efficiently, and professionally
  • Preparing reports as requested for the site and providing insights and analysis from the reports to the facilities team
Requirements:
  • Hold tertiary or post-trade qualifications in business, facility management, accounting, or a related discipline
  • Possess at least 3-5 years' experience in a highly complex operating environment
  • Have strong management experience within a dynamic, high-pressure setting
  • Prior experience in facility management (desired) and working in high-profile buildings (desired)
  • Maintain site-specific documentation and quality assurance information
  • Manage sub-contractors effectively
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation and compliance
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision
