Lawyer/Project Coordinator

A high-profile Commonwealth agency seeks an experienced APS 6 Lawyer/Project Officer for an initial period of 6 months.
The ideal candidate will provide specialist legal advice on administrative law matters, perform independent research work and analysis, and prepare draft reports on relevant project activities.
Key Responsibilities- Providing specialist legal advice on administrative law matters;
- Performing independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities;
- Coordinating regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports;
- Identifying and assisting with the management of project risks, issues and benefits;
- Contributing and supporting the development and implementation of improvements and best practice in processes and procedures;
- Developing and supporting stakeholder relationships to deliver projects.
Previous experience working on Commonwealth legal projects is essential.
A current practicing certificate is also required.
