Job seekers are invited to apply for a construction and projects lawyer position with our leading independent Australian law firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers with 2-4 years' post-admission experience (PAE) to join one of the largest and most dedicated construction and projects teams in the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with leading partners and gain exposure to a range of matters including government and private sector procurement
  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on construction and services contracts
  • Serve a diverse client base including ASX-listed corporates, and various state and federal government departments

The ideal candidate will have technical legal experience in construction and/or procurement, along with the ability to draft and review a range of contract, project and tender documentation. A proactive, curious approach with a strong attention to detail is essential for this role.

Requirements
  • Technical legal expertise in construction and/or procurement
  • Experience drafting and reviewing contract and project documentation
  • Confidence interacting with clients and working collaboratively in a team
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results
