Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can build strong connections with local communities. As a Pathology Collector, you will be at the forefront of patient care.
You will be responsible for collecting samples from patients in various wards and areas, including paediatrics, difficult bleeds, and AGB's with care and attention.
This role offers the chance to provide quality patient care, working closely with doctors, nurses, patients, couriers, and clinic staff to understand their needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Pathology Collection
- Liaising and building effective relationships with stakeholders
- Keeping meticulous records
- Transporting samples to laboratory
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in pathology collection
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection or RN/EN qualification or healthcare background
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Organised with strong time management and attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously and independently
- Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics/hospitals & labs
- Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain one
- Current police check or willing to obtain one
- Australian citizen or permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or valid visa with permission to work
