Cancer Prevention Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Community Health Specialist to join our cancer prevention team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering informative and engaging cancer prevention education sessions in community settings, attending community events to connect individuals with cancer prevention information and resources, supporting program evaluation through data collection and feedback gathering, and providing administration, IT and logistical support for prevention activities.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in health promotion, health science or a similar field, or equivalent community engagement experience. They will be confident in delivering information via formal face-to-face presentations and informal community events, and will require a valid driver's license and WWVP Card (or the ability to obtain one).

We are looking for someone who is tech savvy, organised and proactive in ensuring our messaging is right for our audiences. You will have the support of an experienced and passionate state-wide team to help you succeed.
