Job Description:
As a Conference Centre Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional events and creating lasting memories. You will be responsible for providing operational support, ensuring smooth function coordination and set up, and availability of necessary stock and resources.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to ensure smooth function coordination and set up
- Ensure the availability of necessary stock and resources
- Handle customer inquiries and manage the booking process with professionalism and efficiency
- Maintain the conference centre premises to ensure a presentable and clean environment
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional service
- Process orders and invoices accurately and promptly
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous front-of-house/hospitality experience
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Outstanding customer service skills and a talent for building and maintaining relationships
- Impressive verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation
- A strong work ethic, enthusiasm, high energy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Preferred possession of a valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
