About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Systems Coordinator to join our team at Real Pet Food Co. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of our health and safety management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain efficient health and safety ways of working and necessary practices, procedures, and processes across the business.
  • Review relevant legislation, codes of practice, organisational policies, Australian Standards, and industry best practice to ensure our health and safety ways of working continuously improve.
  • Support the implementation of a health and safety audit program.
  • Manage health and safety data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure relevant health and safety information and tools are accessible and maintained in self-service channels to drive employee and manager self-sufficiency where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with business managers and staff to promote health and safety ways of working and to encourage participation in the process.
What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise, and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders, including management, staff, industrial organisations, and external agencies on safety issues.
  • Sound understanding of innovative and contemporary safety management approaches across ANZ.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative and contemporary safety management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the project management and implementation of safety management IT systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer and shopper-focused approach to all work.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing effective change management projects.
  • Experience working across multiple sites.
  • Experience in similar health and safety roles in manufacturing or mass production environments.
