About the Role

As a Safety Systems Coordinator at ACRWORLD, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing safety management systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Safety Systems: Create, implement, and maintain safety management systems in compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all safety procedures, policies, and documentation are up-to-date and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Audits and Inspections: Regularly audit and inspect safety systems to monitor their effectiveness.
  • Coordinate Training: Develop and coordinate training programs for staff on safety protocols and system usage.
  • Track and Report Safety Performance: Monitor and track safety performance, incidents, and near misses.
  • Integrate Safety into Daily Operations: Facilitate the integration of safety management systems into daily operations across departments.
  • Manage Corrective Actions: Manage corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of safety-related issues.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure safety compliance and improvement.
  • Lead Safety Improvement Initiatives: Lead safety system improvement initiatives based on audit findings, incident reports, and employee feedback.
  • Support Audits and ISO Certification: Assist in the preparation for external audits and ISO certification processes.
  • Maintain Safety Records: Maintain records related to safety audits, inspections, training, and incident reports.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety: Possess a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: Have proven experience in a safety advisory role within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Possess in-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough investigations and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Safety Software: Be proficient in using safety management software and tools.
  • Proactive Approach: Demonstrate a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach to safety management.
