Health and Safety Systems Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Systems Coordinator to join our team at Real Pet Food Co. As a key member of our Health and Safety Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and the sustainability of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain efficient Health and Safety systems and procedures across the business to guide all levels of staff on best practice Health and Safety management.
- Review relevant legislation, codes of practice, organisational policies, Australian Standards and industry best practice to ensure Real Pet Food Co's Health and Safety systems continuously improve.
- Support the implementation of a Health and Safety audit program.
- Manage Health and Safety data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Ensure relevant Health and Safety information and tools are accessible and maintained in self-service channels to drive employee and manager self-sufficiency where appropriate.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business managers and staff to promote Health and Safety systems and to encourage participation in the process.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders including management, staff, industrial organisations and external agencies on safety issues.
- Sound understanding of innovative and contemporary safety management approaches across ANZ.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative and contemporary safety management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in the project management and implementation of safety management IT systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer and shopper focused approach to all you do.
- Strong time management skills, with ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Demonstrated experience in implementing effective change management projects.
- Experience working across multiple sites.
- Experience in similar Health and Safety roles in manufacturing or mass production environments.
