About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Services Officer to join our team at GenesisCare Frenchs Forest. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our patients and staff, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our patients and staff, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to our patients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Appointment Management: Coordinate and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Billing and Receipting: Process patient billing and receipting, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to ensure efficient processes and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organizational Skills: High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
