About the Role:
Medibank Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Services Director to lead our non-clinical teams and play a crucial part in shaping our future in this newly created role.
This exciting new position will see you lead multiple teams, including Administration and Courier staff, ensuring smooth operations across these functions. You will also be responsible for rostering, fleet management and providing essential support to the Business Support Officer. This role reports directly to the Head of Human Resources and works closely with the leadership team, offering a unique opportunity to enhance our service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage administration and courier teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to meet the needs of our patients
- Fleet management
- Provide operational support to the Business Support Officer and collaborate on various administrative tasks
- Recruitment, onboarding and training
- Work closely with the Head of Human Resources and the leadership team to align operations with organisational goals
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient experience and service efficiency
What we're looking for:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within a healthcare setting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in fleet management and supporting administrative functions
- A proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively and contribute to strategic initiatives
- Tertiary qualifications in business management, healthcare administration or a related field will be highly regarded
