Project Coordinator Opportunity

Azooa seeks expressions of interest from experienced ICT professionals to support our response to the DEF108 ICT Project Management RFQ issued by the Department of Defence.

We're forming a delivery team to uplift sovereign Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) capabilities, empowering the Australian Defence Force's situational awareness, survivability, and operational advantage.

This is an opportunity to work on a long-term Defence program that will directly support Australia's national security and strategic capability development.

The Intelligence Capability Division (ICD), through its Intelligence Data & Targeting (IDT) branch and Foundational Military Intelligence Directorate (FMID), is leading this initiative.

Our team will provide project coordination, enterprise architecture, and requirements engineering resources to deliver the foundational digital enablers for this mission.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating project delivery aligned with Commonwealth governance structures
  • Managing cost, schedule, and performance risks in a complex, multi-stakeholder program
  • Delivering and maintaining the Service Management Plan, Transition-In Plan, and Phase-Out Plan
  • Overseeing Proof of Concept development and capability transition to operational teams
  • Preparing reports and leading governance meetings (Contract Status Reports, Performance Reviews)

Required skills include:

  • Demonstrated ICT experience in government or Defence sectors
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery assurance skills
  • Understanding of Defence procurement and milestone frameworks
