A Day in The Life

As a Loan Kit Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining inventory levels to support surgical procedures
  • Restocking consignment sets to ensure timely delivery
  • Managing kit resources to facilitate efficient picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Collaborating with the Loan Kit Technicians to ensure seamless operations
  • Supporting our trauma business through a 24-hour on-call roster
  • Preparing bookings to manage instrument sets and inventory levels
  • Assisting with packing and checking of sets as required
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of products for planning and triage of sets
  • Completing quarterly stock takes to meet KPIs
  • Managing freight providers for effective delivery of sets
  • Following QMS for the loaner site in line with Medtronic's ISO13485 processes
  • Complying with Medtronic's Quality, Finance, and Legal policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Vocational or technical education and advanced certification
  • Experience with computerized order entry and inventory systems (SAP experience desirable)
  • Sound knowledge of stock control systems
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office suite
  • Customer-focused service skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume inventory
  • Excellent leadership and self-motivation skills
  • Excellent people skills, diplomatic and customer-oriented
  • Results-oriented, with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
