Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the seamless operation of our Loan Kit services:

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support all surgical procedure requirements in collaboration with the Team Leader and Operations Manager.
  • Ensure timely restocking of consignment sets for surgeries to meet all operational needs.
  • Facilitate effective communication and management of kit resources, enabling Loan Kit Technicians to efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch kits.
  • Play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of the Loan Kits team, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all tasks.
  • Support our trauma division, which may require participation in a 24-hour on-call roster shared among team members, with potential overtime during peak periods.
  • Prepare and manage bookings for instrument sets and inventory levels for kits dispatched to healthcare facilities.
  • Assist in the packing and verification of sets as needed.
  • Oversee all Medtronic Set assets on-site, ensuring proper management.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products for effective planning and triage of sets.
  • Conduct quarterly stock assessments of all products within designated KPIs.
  • Coordinate with freight providers to ensure timely delivery of sets to meet surgical demands.
  • Adhere to Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with Medtronic's ISO13485 processes and established KPIs.
  • Comply with Medtronic's Quality, Finance, and Legal policies; respond to both internal and external audits.
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations, ensuring actions do not compromise the well-being of others.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous experience in a related field, with vocational or technical education and advanced certification preferred.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Medical Loan Kits with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding objectives.
  • Proficiency in computerized order entry and inventory systems; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of stock control systems.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Customer-focused service orientation for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for interaction with hospital staff, including sterilizing departments and operating theatre personnel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to manage high-volume inventory.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, self-motivation, and commitment to team excellence.
  • Exceptional people skills, characterized by diplomacy and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
