Daily Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet the demands of surgical procedures in partnership with the Team Leader and Operations Manager.
• Restocking consignment sets to guarantee readiness for surgical needs, in collaboration with the Team Leader and Operations Manager.
• Maintaining effective communication and overseeing the management and scheduling of kit resources, enabling Loan Kit Technicians to efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch loan kits.
• Playing a vital role that directly influences the operational efficiency of the Loan Kits team, ensuring that our service to customers is executed with precision and reliability.
• Supporting our trauma division, which may require participation in a 24-hour on-call roster shared among team members, with potential overtime during peak periods.
• Preparing bookings to manage instrument sets and inventory levels for kits dispatched to healthcare facilities.
• Assisting with the packing and verification of sets as necessary.
• Supporting all Medtronic Set assets, both inventory and non-inventory, on-site.
• Developing a comprehensive understanding of products for effective planning and triage of sets.
• Conducting quarterly stock assessments of all products within designated territories, adhering to established KPIs.
• Coordinating with freight providers to ensure timely delivery of sets to meet surgical requirements.
• Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS) for the loaner site in alignment with Medtronic's ISO13485 standards and published KPIs.
• Complying with Medtronic's policies and procedures related to Quality, Finance, and Legal; responding to both internal and external audits.
• Observing all health and safety protocols, ensuring that actions do not compromise the well-being of others.

Qualifications Required:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with vocational or technical education and advanced certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Medical Loan Kits and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding objectives.
• Proficiency in computerized order entry and inventory management systems; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of stock control systems.
• Competence in computer applications, particularly the MS Office suite.
• A customer-centric approach to service for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for interacting with various stakeholders, including hospital sterilization departments and surgical teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and capability to manage substantial inventory volumes.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, self-motivation, and a commitment to team excellence.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a diplomatic and customer-oriented approach.
