Key Responsibilities

Your duties will encompass a variety of essential tasks, including:

  • Ensuring optimal inventory levels are sustained to meet all surgical procedure requirements in partnership with the Team Leader and Operations Manager.
  • Overseeing the replenishment of consignment sets for surgical procedures to maintain necessary inventory levels.
  • Facilitating effective communication and management of kit resources to enable Loan Kit Technicians to efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch loan kits.
  • Playing a crucial role that significantly influences the operational efficiency of the Loan Kits team, ensuring tasks are executed with precision and timeliness.
  • Supporting our trauma division, which may involve participating in a 24-hour on-call roster shared among team members, with potential overtime during peak periods.
  • Preparing bookings to manage instrument sets and inventory levels for kits dispatched to healthcare facilities.
  • Assisting with the packing and verification of sets as needed.
  • Supporting all Medtronic Set assets, both inventory and non-inventory, on-site.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products for effective planning and triage of sets.
  • Conducting quarterly stock assessments of all products within designated territories, adhering to established KPIs.
  • Coordinating with freight providers to ensure timely delivery of sets to fulfill surgical demands.
  • Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS) for the loaner site in accordance with Medtronic's ISO13485 processes and published KPIs.
  • Complying with Medtronic's Quality, Finance, and Legal policies and procedures, including responding to internal and external audits.
  • Observing all health and safety regulations and ensuring actions do not compromise the well-being of others.

Qualifications Required

  • Previous experience in a related field, with vocational or technical education and advanced certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Medical Loan Kits and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding objectives.
  • Proficiency in computerized order entry and inventory systems, with SAP experience being advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of stock control systems.
  • Computer literacy, including a solid grasp of the MS Office suite.
  • A customer-centric approach to service for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, essential for engaging with various stakeholders, including hospital staff and medical professionals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and capability to manage substantial inventory volumes.
  • Strong leadership qualities, self-motivation, and a commitment to being a team leader.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating diplomacy and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Results-driven attitude with a proactive approach.
  • Capability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
