About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loan Kit Coordinator to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our loan kit inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels to support all requirements for surgical procedures.
  • Restock consignment sets to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the correct management and scheduling of kit resources.
  • Support the Loan Kit Technicians in their daily tasks, including picking, packing, and dispatching loan kits.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the efficient execution of tasks and the achievement of goals.
  • Prepare bookings to manage instrument sets and inventory levels for kits sent to hospitals.
  • Assist with packing and checking of sets as required.
  • Support all Medtronic set assets, including inventory and non-inventory items.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products to plan and triage sets effectively.
  • Complete quarterly stock takes of all products in the territories within given KPIs.
  • Manage freight providers to ensure effective delivery of sets to meet surgical demands.
  • Follow QMS for the loaner site in line with Medtronic's ISO13485 processes and published KPIs.
  • Comply with Medtronic's Quality, Finance, and Legal policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in inventory management and a vocational or technical education.
  • Experience in medical loan kits with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Ability to use computerized order entry and inventory systems, with experience with SAP desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of stock control systems and computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurized environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume inventory.
  • Excellent leadership and self-motivation, with a commitment to being a leader within the team.
  • Excellent people skills, with a diplomatic and customer-oriented approach.
  • Results-oriented, with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously, but also as a team player.
