Job Overview

As a sourcing expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving our procurement strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for Retail and Real Estate categories.
  • Conduct thorough vendor reviews and develop go-to-market strategies to optimize our supply chain.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to enhance engagement with strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Enhance the capabilities of the business by providing mentorship and guidance to vendor management teams.
  • Provide expert advice on high-value sourcing projects and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to create sourcing documents, including funding approvals, procurement strategies, RFx documents, evaluation plans, and reports, as well as risk management plans.
  • Continuously monitor and understand changing business requirements within the organization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing insightful guidance on sourcing-related matters.
About You
  • You will be an experienced procurement professional with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments.
  • A skilled networker, you will be able to establish credibility and buy-in from stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Previous experience managing Retail and Real Estate categories will be highly valued, along with a commercially-minded and innovative approach.
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical capability.
  • Previous consulting experience will be regarded well, making this role an ideal fit for consultants looking to transition into an in-house position.
