Procurement Specialist Role:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with suppliers from various countries.
Your tasks will include:
- Sourcing alternative factory options for existing products
- Sourcing factory options for new product design needs
You will work closely with the Design team and internal teams to find suitable suppliers.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in sourcing and procuring products, materials, components preferably in the furniture/mattress industry
- Familiarity with taking custom product designs to manufacturers
- Comfortable dealing with manufacturers from different countries
- Knowledge of how to conduct onboarding supplier audits, negotiate and evaluate tenders
- Preferably speak languages other than English, such as Chinese or Vietnamese
