Job Opportunity

We are seeking a professional to plan, deliver, and successfully deploy complex strategic sourcing activities across the University.

The ideal candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver complex and high-value tenders and strategic sourcing projects within agreed timeframes. This includes business case development, market engagement, leading negotiations, supplier and stakeholder management, as well as continuous improvement initiatives and risk identification and mitigation.

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • A great combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in an IT environment
  • Experience in establishing and managing commercial ICT contracts, including providing expert, strategic advice, project management, reporting, and consulting at a high level
  • Strong understanding of ICT goods and services and emerging trends in this market
  • Demonstrated experience in competitive procurement functions with sourcing, contract, and stakeholder management skills from a commercial or business background
