About This Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a range of policy functions including:

  • Developing and recommending appropriate policy options to address Government objectives
  • Leading and assisting in the development of Ministerial briefings and submissions on regional processing, resettlement and counter-people smuggling matters
  • Liaising with other policy areas within the Department and key taskforces
  • Effectively managing relationships and communications with external stakeholders
