The Administrative Support Officer role plays a pivotal part in maintaining the Department's operational efficiency.

This position reports to the Assistant Director of Border Systems and Technical Service Section and requires leveraging knowledge and expertise across different areas to deliver desired outcomes.

The role supports the Assistant Director and the Section, encompassing activities such as client-centric relationship management, program planning, delivery management, financial support, procurement, and vendor management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Document and coordinate IT change requests from developers, delivery managers, and/or directors within the Cargo and Trade domain
  • Liaise with business areas to facilitate change coordination and software release in different environments against scheduled commitments
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained in accordance with the Recordkeeping Practice Statement and Instruction Guidelines
