Rehabilitation Specialist with Occupational Health Focus

About the Role
  • Support injured workers with sustained physical and/or psychological injuries at work, utilizing clinical reasoning skills to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and facilitate the transition from rehabilitation to healing.
  • Perform various assessments, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments, based on area of clinical expertise.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including injured employees, employers, medical specialists, and other allied health professionals, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans, providing support to clients who have experienced motor vehicle accidents or workplace injuries.

Requirements
  • Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ESSA).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated passion for helping people rehabilitate and recover.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your own calendar effectively.
