The Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting people who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury at work. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support the journey from rehab to healing.
You will perform various assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments. You will also collaborate with stakeholders, including injured employees and employers, medical specialists and other allied health professionals.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans to support clients who have sustained an injury from motor vehicle accidents or a workplace injury.
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve common goals.
- Support clients in achieving their full potential and returning to work or finding new employment opportunities.

Requirements
- Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Nursing
- Strong clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per year, depending on experience
