Rehabilitation Specialist

The role of Rehabilitation Specialist involves applying clinical reasoning skills to support people who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury at work.
- Taking a holistic care approach, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
- Perform various assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including injured employees and employers, medical specialists and other allied health professionals
- Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans to support clients who have sustained an injury from motor vehicle accidents or a workplace injury

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Nursing
- Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated passion to help people rehabilitate and a commitment to delivering high-quality services
