Job Overview

Symbio Holdings Limited is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and enhance the company's market presence within the Australian Telecommunications sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for Symbio's suite of services and products within the Connect Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new and ongoing customers for the business
  • Create bespoke and tailored proposal and tenders for new customers
  • Manage accounts that you have created and increase their spend
  • Be tasked with analytical reporting of the sales process
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, product, marketing, legal, etc.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in new business sales, with a strong preference for experience within the telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge of the domestic telecommunications sector, including cloud-based communication platforms, VoIP, PSTN/SIP Trunking, and networking, is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passionate about pursuing and securing new business opportunities
  • Open to occasional travel for partner meetings, conferences, and industry events
