Job Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished leader to drive operational excellence in our warehousing and packing team at a leading agricultural goods company.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist in driving continuous improvement across business processes and procedures. They will play a key role in driving operational synergies across warehouse and packing operations, assisting with customer management, and ensuring a high level of professionalism with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a positive safety culture across all activities on-site.
  • Collaborate with senior management to manage day-to-day activities and achieve business outcomes.
  • Manage operations at the packing and warehouse facilities as required by senior management.
  • Drive a positive team culture through proactive leadership, mentoring, and feedback.
  • Develop operational strategies that maximise site efficiencies while maintaining safety and customer service standards.
  • Support senior management in managing staff requirements to maximise labour utilisation.
  • Maximise allocation and utilisation of equipment across activities.
  • Assist in the maintenance of site machinery, including development of a preventative maintenance program.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Ensure presentation and cleanliness of all areas of the site are maintained.
Requirements

Experience

  • Hold a valid manual license.
  • Possess a forklift ticket.
  • Be an Accredited Officer (AQIS) or be willing to obtain.
  • Hold a Confined Space ticket or be willing to obtain.
  • Hold an EWP Ticket or be willing to obtain.
