Front Office Team Member Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our Front Office team as a Rooms Controller. This is an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time position working across our Front Office Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign rooms according to guest preferences and availability
  • Handle general enquiries with a focus on providing unique solutions
  • Assist with verifying and adjusting billing for guests while following up with guest questions and requests
  • Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, able to provide exceptional service and recommendations to exceed guest expectations
  • Take guest reservations and perform cash handling & credit card responsibilities
  • Confirm reservations and cancellations while communicating status to appropriate departments
  • Organize and coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for arriving groups
  • Assist guests arriving and departing the hotel through the check in and departure process
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging and inspiring guests throughout each experience
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and facilitating future bookings
  • Support the Front Office team with general operational tasks
  • Respond to guest enquiries for special arrangements or services including but not limited to transportation, reservations and dry cleaning
  • Assist the Concierge and Executive Lounge team with general operational tasks while supporting other front office associates
  • Ensure all guest requirements and requests are anticipated and completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures and completion of required tasks in a prompt and thorough manner
