Policy Officer

Overview:

This role is responsible for efficiently managing electronic databases, assisting with document creation and review processes, and providing training to document reviewers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the electronic policy and procedure system, including uploading and downloading of documents as required.
  • Monitor the status of documents, including supporting and following up with Executive Sponsors and nominated reviewers.
  • Assist nominated reviewers with the document writing process, including meeting with reviewers and/or subject matter experts.
  • Provide training to document reviewers using templates and writing guides.
Requirements:
  • Technical competence in managing electronic databases.
  • Ability to write in a clear and concise manner, using plain English to produce documents which are easily understood by the intended audience.
  • High level communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, with ability to work effectively to deadlines.
  • Initiative and ability to prioritize tasks based on their importance and/or urgency.
