Job Title: Community Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Manager to join our team and contribute to the efficient delivery of our Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating community and stakeholder engagement for infrastructure projects, developing and implementing communication strategies, researching and writing project communication materials, and providing strategic communications advice and support to project directors, project managers and other staff.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local, state and federal government officers, key industry stakeholders, local business and the general community.
  • Manage the preparation of executive correspondence and communications materials, including researching and writing media statements and responses, ministerial briefings, newsletters, flyers, display materials, speech notes and website content.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Proven experience in community engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
