We are seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Specialist to strengthen connections between schools, families, and community stakeholders. In this role, you will work closely with local and regional agencies to support student wellbeing, engagement, and attendance.

About the Role

This is an Identified position within our school community. You will be working with local and regional agencies to support student wellbeing, engagement, and attendance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain key relationships to enhance planning and service delivery processes.
  • Prioritise, schedule and perform work to meet deadlines, commitments and client service standards.
  • Participate in a work team and undertake a variety of project activities.

You will be required to develop and maintain working relationships with local government officers and local peak bodies to prepare and provide timely information and advice to stakeholders in relation to future planning for the delivery of services in line with government policy.

  • A strong understanding of the local community and its needs.
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, students, parents and the broader community.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
