About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated consultant to contribute to the delivery of high-impact land use planning and policy projects, primarily for public sector clients.

  • Assist in preparing statutory land use planning projects, including development applications, land use studies, compliance assessments, highest and best use analysis, due diligence, precinct plans, and supporting technical inputs.
  • Provide high-quality planning advice informed by current government policies, regional and local priorities, and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in economics, urban design, transport, infrastructure advisory, community planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations, and public-facing documents that communicate complex planning concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Requirements
  • Holds tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Ideally minimum 1-2 years' experience within an urban planning firm-based environment.
  • Sound knowledge of statutory planning and related legislation, ideally gained in a consultancy or local/state government environment.
  • Proficient appreciation and understanding of statutory policies, processes, and influences.
  • Proficient appreciation and understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development.
