The Opportunity

We seek an Urban Planning Consultant with technical expertise to join our Brisbane office.

Leveraging proven skills, you'll offer sound statutory and strategic urban planning advice and insights.

You will contribute to high-impact land use planning and policy projects, primarily for public sector clients.

  • Prepare statutory land use planning projects, including development applications, land use studies, compliance assessments, highest and best use analysis, due diligence, precinct plans, and supporting technical inputs.
  • Provide high-quality planning analysis and advice informed by current government policies, regional and local priorities, and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in economics, urban design, transport, infrastructure advisory, community planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations, and public-facing documents that communicate complex planning concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • E nsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Your Qualifications

* Hold tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline.

* Ideally 1-2 years' experience within an Urban Planning firm-based environment.

* Sound knowledge of statutory planning and related legislation, ideally gained in a consultancy or local/State government environment.
