As our new Urban Planning expert, you'll be part of a team that brings ideas to life for our clients across built environment, transport, land and water, energy and government sectors.

The Urban Planning team offers a diverse range of strategic and statutory planning activities, working alongside Engineering, Precincts, Integrated Design and Digital teams.

You'll play an integral part in delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, identifying planning and environmental opportunities and constraints through masterplanning, concept, due diligence, feasibility and/or detailed design stages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing urban planning advisory and consulting services to public and private clients
  • Supporting the delivery of medium to large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Collaborating with other teams to leverage technical ability
  • Navigating complex technical and legislative requirements
  • Developing relationships with clients and stakeholders

Required qualifications include:

  • A relevant qualification in Urban Planning or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated working experience in a similar position
  • Understanding of statutory planning frameworks
  • A demonstrated ability to prepare reports and provide advice
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organised, motivated and ability to develop positive team relationships
