Financial Operations Specialist for Australia and New Zealand

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, supporting the Finance Manager in maintaining and managing financial operations across Australia and New Zealand.
About This OpportunityThis role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, innovative company with international reach. You will be responsible for a range of financial and administrative duties essential for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll functions, including fortnightly and monthly payroll processing, reconciliation, journal entries, WorkCover, payroll tax, superannuation, and annual/long service leave provisions.
- Accounts Payable: Oversee accounts payable functions by processing invoices, managing creditor payments, performing reconciliations, and handling credit card transactions.
- General Accounting & Compliance: Support the Finance Manager with business activity statements (BAS) preparation, prepayments, asset depreciation, and financial reporting.
- Administration & HR Support: Assist with lease management for company vehicles, preparation of insurance claims, and various administrative tasks.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficient in MYOB, Xero, or similar accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Australian payroll systems and tax regulations is essential.
- Competitive salary range AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum.
