About the Opportunity

Australia Post is a leading logistics and postal services company that is committed to delivering sustainable solutions for the environment, communities, and customers.

The Group Sustainability Office is responsible for enhancing the positive and reducing any negative social, environmental, and economic impacts of our operations.

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Data Analyst to join our team and assist with the collection, analysis, reporting, and maintenance of data, including delivering insights and visualisations to help drive performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the collection, aggregation, review, and maintenance of internal performance data and information focused on sustainability initiatives and programs across all Australia Post operations.
  • Develop and build data visualisations and dashboards to report sustainability-related performance.
  • Support continuous improvement of process and performance based on data analysis and best practice insights.
  • Support timely and compliant reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with the collation and management of sustainability-related information, as well as the development of presentations and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability for problem solving and simplifying complex processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate responsibility and sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with data visualisation software, such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Extensive experience in working with complex data sets using Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skillset.
