
Dynamic Rostering Specialist

Job Summary:
Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills? We are seeking a highly motivated Workforce Scheduler to join our team on a full-time capacity.
This role is responsible for implementing rostering adjustments, ensuring resource allocation and staff scheduling is balanced and equitable, managing rescheduling day-to-day to cover unplanned changes in support worker's availability, acting as the primary contact for employee queries regarding their roster and leave/absences, communicating with payroll specialist to ensure accurate employee working shifts, frequently communicating with HR coordinator about staff shortage to ensure client services are delivered on time, preparing relevant rostering reports as required, and training staff to use the rostering app for timesheet recording and incident reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement rostering adjustments across disability and aged care programs
- Ensure resources and staff scheduling is balanced, equitable, and logistically sound
- Manage rescheduling day-to-day to cover unplanned changes in support worker's availability
- Act as the primary contact for employee queries regarding their roster and leave/absences
- Communicate with payroll specialist to ensure accurate employee working shifts
- Frequently communicate with HR coordinator about staff shortage to ensure client services are delivered on time
- Prepare relevant rostering reports as required
- Train staff to use the rostering app for timesheet recording and incident reporting
Requirements:
- Relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications in business administration or commerce
- Excellent spoken and written Cantonese skills
- Excellent communication skills with different stakeholders
- Proven experience in rostering or workforce scheduling in aged care and disability services
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to result-orientation
