Job Overview
The Rostering Manager plays a vital role in managing employee rosters within our services. This involves forecasting rosters, coordinating with employees to ensure availability and covering shifts with the right staff to meet participant needs.
This is a dynamic position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring rosters on a daily basis and working collaboratively with management to refine processes and guidelines.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain master rosters, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective rostering.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve rostering efficiency, reducing no-shows and last-minute changes.
- Collaborate with employees to address any rostering issues or concerns, promoting a positive work environment.
- Monitor and report on rostering metrics, providing insights to inform process improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience in rostering, preferably in an aged care or healthcare setting.
- Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
