About the Role

The Bid Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective compliance with UGL Bid Governance, enhancing the bid process, and increasing the probability of winning the contract by coordinating risk and opportunity management, and cross-functional technical and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement winning proposal strategies to ensure the highest probability of success.
  • Review tender documentation to ensure a full and complete understanding of the technical and commercial commitment to which UGL/CIMIC will be obligated.
  • Conduct risk assessments and management activities to evaluate all commercial, financial, legislative, and resource risks associated with the tender.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the customer at necessary levels within their organization.
About You

We are seeking a candidate with a Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline (Commerce, Engineering, Marketing, etc.).

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Road or Rail Infrastructure, including tunneling, communications, as well as tendering and bid management knowledge on projects above 200 M in value.

Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.

Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
