Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid Manager to join our team in Australia. As a Senior Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategic approach and execution of multi-million-dollar proposals, tenders, and bid responses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the bid team in the development of compelling proposals that meet the client's requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and marketing teams, to ensure that proposals are accurately represented and meet the client's needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that proposals are aligned with their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the bid team to develop and implement a bid strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the bid process from start to finish, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that proposals are submitted on time and in the correct format.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's services and products, as well as the latest industry trends and developments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest bid management tools and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's bid management process and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in bid management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of the construction and engineering industries, with a focus on real estate and infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Relevant degree in a field such as engineering, business, or marketing, or equivalent experience.
