Work Health and Safety Professional

This is a unique opportunity to lead health and safety initiatives at a prominent hospital in Sydney. As our dedicated Work Health and Safety professional, you will be based onsite and work closely with executive and frontline teams to shape and support a proactive safety culture.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and supporting leaders on health and safety strategies and compliance
  • Leading incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Coordinating emergency preparedness and fire response systems
  • Delivering health and safety training and building capability across the site
  • Reviewing and updating safety policies and procedures in line with legislation
  • Supporting injury management and return to work planning

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in health or safety (e.g., Cert IV or above)
  • 3+ years of experience in health and safety or a related field
  • Tech-savvy approach - confident using Microsoft Office and safety systems
  • Strong communication, investigation, and coaching skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
